Akshara School was established by late Sri K.V.K. Raju, founder of Nagarjuna Group of Companies on 2nd July 1990. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and 22 batches of class X have passed out meritoriously so far. The school has a strength of 1852 students and 65 qualified and experienced teachers and 17 non-teaching staff headed by the Principal. The school is rooted in traditional values but modern in its outlook. The class rooms in spacious academic blocks nestled in leafy surroundings provide an ambience of creativity and innovation. The laboratories are well equipped and support practical work and academic projects. The school has 50 classrooms, 3 Science Labs: one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, a Computer Centre, an Educational Technology Centre, a Mathematics Lab, a Social Science Lab, a K.G. Activity Hall, a Botanical Garden, a spacious Dining Hall, facilities for Work Experience and Art Education activities. The school is also equipped with a spacious Library and facilities for Indoor and Outdoor games.
